Funeral services for Mr. Aaron Wheeler, age 89 of Milan, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 am until 2:00 pm service time at the funeral home. Mr. Wheeler was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan. He served in the United States Army. He and his brother, Woodrow, owned and operated Milan Motor Company, a Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge Dealership until 1977. The business was recognized with numerous awards from Chrysler Corporation while in operation. Mr. Wheeler continued to operate the business as Wheeler's Sales and Service from 1977 until July 2017. (Terry) Reed of Union City, TN Sisters - Rachael Hays of Milan and Marie Bedwell of Huntingdon, TN Grandsons - Cory (Laura) Wheeler, Michael (Laney) Rogers, Kris (Lori) Wheeler, Gary (Danielle) Wheeler, Jason (Robin) Rogers, Matthew (Amber) Wheeler, Jesse (Ali) Wheeler, Scott Wheeler, and Brian (Felicia) Wheeler Great Grandchildren - 13 Mr. Wheeler is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Aaron is preceded in death by his parents; Jessie E. Wheeler and Bertha Douglas Wheeler, brothers; Fay Wheeler, Woodrow Wheeler, and Verman Wheeler, and sisters; Flossie Fuchs, Dorothy Fletcher, and Marion Wheeler. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association of your choice, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
