Services for Ms. Cathryn C. Dowdy, age 87 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Family visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 - 2pm at the funeral home. Ms. Dowdy was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church near Milan. Surviving Family: Son - Ralph Dowdy Daughter - Brenda (Roger) Robinson Grandchildren - Kimberly Whitt and Carrie Ray 5 - Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Dowdy and two sisters, Maude Jones and Virginia LaSalle.
