Funeral service for Mr. Eurby "Mater Man" Sanders, age 97 of Gibson, will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the White Rose Cemetery near Gibson. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday evening from 5:30 - 8:30pm at the funeral home. Mr. Sanders was a member of the Gregory's Chapel Assembly of God Church in Humboldt. He also served as a caretaker for many cemeteries in and around the Gibson area. Surviving Family: Daughter - Jolene (Wallace Fowler) Keymon of Gibson 6 - Grandchildren 8 - Great Grandchildren 4 - Great Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Mae Sanders, a daughter, Freda Lamar, and twelve brothers and sisters. Memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
