Funeral service for Mrs. Margaret Joan Tate Appleton, age 81 of Milan, will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 12 - 2 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Appleton was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Milan and was the retired co-owner of the Silver Kitchen. She enjoyed playing golf and Bridge and was an avid fan of the Milan High School football team and the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team. Surviving Family: Husband - Robert L. Appleton Sons - Rev. Jim (Linda) Appleton and Bobby (Kelli) Appleton Daughters - Sherry (Gary) Buchanan and Debra (Bruce) Moore Half-Brother - Rev. Bob (Claudette) Kendig 13 - Grandchildren 4 - Great Grandchildren
