Funeral service for Mr. John Ethridge Springer, age 82 of Atwood, will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 28, 2015 Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening from 5 - 8pm at the funeral home. Mr. Springer was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Atwood and was a retired worker for Florida Steel. Surviving Family: Wife - Joyce Pinkley Springer (62 years) Sons - David Springer (Lisa) and Johnny Springer (Michelle) Daughters - Linda Tilley and Melody McKee (Mitchell) Sisters - Dorothy Richardson and Ann Jones 6 - Grandchildren 5 - Great Grandchildren Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
