Funeral service for Ms. Merline Todd Tubbs, age 93 of Milan, will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Farmville Cemetery near Yuma, TN. Ms. Tubbs was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Milan where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class and was a retired hairdresser. Surviving Family: Son - Larry Vernon Tubbs Daughter - Myra (Johnny) Johnson Brothers - Robert Todd, Hulon Todd and Jimmy Todd Sisters - Jean Walker and Linda Burcham Grandchild - Julieanne Johnson (Larry) Hart Great Grandchildren - Jordan Parkins, Rachel Beth Hart and Allison Hart She was preceded in death by her parents, Turner Hulon Todd and Mary Elizabeth Waugh Todd, two daughters Jane Tubbs Dunn and Mary Lou Tubbs, three brothers Lois Todd, Bug Todd and Edwin Todd, one sister Ava Smothers and a grand-daughter Kim Johnson. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Milan or the charity of the donor's choice.
