Funeral service for Mr. Charles Andrew "Andy" Leach, age 77 of Milan, will held on Wednesday, December 28 at 2 PM at the Milan First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 12 2 PM at the church. Mr. Leach was born on March 9, 1945 to Thelbert Austin and Dorothy Louise Hassell Leach in Jackson. He was a lifelong educator starting as a teacher and retired from the Bradford Special School District as Principal of the Bradford Elementary School. Mr. Leach was a great man and a great educator who cared deeply about his schools, teachers and students. He is survived by his wife Peggy Leach of Milan, two daughters Amy Dunn (T.R.) and Jodie Scott (Jeff) both of Milan and five grandchildren Peyten Dunn, Abbey Elizabeth Dunn, Adalyn Scott, Andrew Scott and Audrey Scott all of Milan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Don Austin Leach. Memorials may be directed to the Andy Leach Memorial Scholarship Fund that will be established to assist students that will be going into the field of education.
