Ann Luckey Robinson died at her home in Lavinia, Tennessee on September 1, 2018. She was married for years to John W Robinson, who preceded her in death on January 30, 1978. Mrs. Robinson was an active member of Lavinia Baptist Church, working with primary children and GA's for years. She taught 27 years with Northwest Tennessee Head Start and 5 years with Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Milan. She was born October 27, 1929, to Joe and Bonnie Luckey of Humboldt. She was married to John Wilson Robinson and together they raised 3 children. Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by her husband, grandson, John Reagan Stuart in 2004, one brother, Joe Luckey, Jr, and 3 sisters, Mary Frances Barrix, Catherine Harmon, and Louise Cooper. Mrs. Ann is survived by her son, John (Sherrye) Robinson, Jr of Lavinia; daughters, Jan (Bill) Harrison of Milan and Jill (Bearden) Barnes of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Will (Alicia) Robinson of Lavinia, Emily (Jeremy) Burns of Nashville, TN, Cater Robinson of Nashville, TN, Hudson Harrison of Jackson, TN, Whitney (Lucas) Burt of Columbia, TN, Bearden Barnes, Jr of Japan, Benjamin Barnes of Seattle, WA, Cecilia Barnes of Atlanta, GA, and Lily Barnes of Atlanta, GA; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 4, at the Lavinia Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Lavinia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until service time all at the church.
