Funeral services for Avery Faye Hall, age 20 of Milan, will take place at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Avery was born in Jackson, TN, on July 9, 2003, to Talanee and Cindy Pierce Hall. She was a member of Sitka Church of Christ in Milan. Avery loved music. She played multiple instruments including drums, keyboard, trumpet, and multiple percussion instruments. She also loved to sing. Avery also spent her time drawing and admiring art. She worked as a caregiver for elderly patients and also was an assistant band instructor through the University of Tennessee at Martin. Avery loved to teach children how to make the music she enjoyed so much. Avery is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Janice Hall; paternal great-grandparents, Owen and Dorothy Meredith; and an uncle Nicky Joel Pierce.
