A memorial service for Ms. Barbara (Bobbye) J. Blanks, age 88 of Milan, will be held at a later date at the Milan First United Methodist Church with a private burial to follow. Ms. Bobbye was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. She was known for her cooking and her love of playing bridge. She was a retired manager of the Milan Housing Authority. Barbour, Jr. of Camden, TN, Barbara Ann Arrington (Billy) of Milan, TN, and William Thorne Barbour (Lorrie) of Milan, TN Grandchildren - Ronnie Smith (Kerr) of Midlothian, VA, Amy Rouse (Robert) of Blackstone, VA, Leigh Anne Arrington of Milan, Amanda Arrington of Milan, Anna Meehan (Robert) of Limerick, Ireland, Erin Barbour (Adam) of Lebanon, TN, and Tyler Barbour (Amber) of Milan, TN Great-Grandchildren - 18 Great-Great Grandchildren - 3 Ms. Bobbye is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Guy Jones and Lucile Poole Jones, husbands, Robert Lloyd Barbour and Billie Jordan Blanks, brother, Sonny Jones, and sister, Bettye Rickard.
