Barbara Dedmon Buford entered this world on April 21, 1944. She passed from this world on March 19, 2021. George and Doris Claybrooks Dedmon were her proud parents who preceded her in death. Her beloved siblings are Franklin (Suzanne) Dedmon, John (Tish) Dedmon, and Debbie (Greg) Page. Barbara wrote, "I have had a wonderful life, a great group of friends and the best family anyone could ever have on both sides. I had a great career that I enjoyed to the fullest. I had the honor of working with some of the most wonderful educators". Barbara spent the majority of her career at Milan Middle School in Milan, Tennessee. Barbara attended Harding University and graduated from Bethel College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She received her Masters of Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Barbara stated, "48 years ago I met David Edward Buford. Along with David I got Kelly, Kris, Kendall, and Kollin Todd. My life has been so special watching them grow, attending games, and eating with them every Sunday night". Barbara enjoyed time with family, playing cards with friends, growing beautiful flowers and traveling. Barbara is also survived by stepson Brian Buford, nieces, nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
