Bardie Ray Depriest (BR)- Born June 14, 1947 died at Tennova Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN on May 23, 2018 at the age of 70. BR resided Union City, TN. He was a former resident of Atwood, TN. BR was a former police officer for the city of Trezevant, TN and Sheriffs Deputy for Carroll County, TN. He retired from the City of Union City TN Water Department after 20 years of service. BR was preceded in death by his son Charles (Chuck) Depriest and his parents Bardie Depriest and Lovie Louise Lippard Depriest of Atwood, TN. BR is survived by his wife Faye Depriest from Union City formerly of Atwood, TN and his sister Kay Kemp (Sonny), two sons Chris (Christine) and Chad Depriest and a step-son and daughter Michael stout (Trisha) and Tasha Bowman (Jillian). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being made with Bodkins Funeral Home in Milan, TN. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Lavinia with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery.
