Funeral service for Bettie Rae Bryant, age 89 of Milan, will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 11 am at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 9 11 am at the funeral home. Bettie was born in Decaturville on August 28, 1932 to Jacob and Fannie Suzannah Hamm Dunkle. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Henry and was a retired CNA. She is survived by a son David Pratt of Humboldt, two daughters Glenda Cary of McKenzie and Angela Bowden of Milan, eight grandchildren Jordan Pratt of TN, Cari Hudgens of McKenzie, Jon Eaton (Anna) of McKenzie, Jennifer Baxter of Owensboro, KY, John Pratt of Owensboro, KY, Candice Doyle (Jacob) of Lexington, Abbigale Carter of McEwen and Troy Carter of Milan and twenty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Bryant, a son Michael Pratt, brothers Jon Henry Dunkle, Frank Dunkle, Jr. Dunkle and Walter Dunkle and a sister Rose Dunkle.
