Carrie Elizabeth "Betty" Harper, age 92 of Milan, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021 at NHC Healthcare after an brief illness. Betty was born on April 15, 1929 in Milan to Charlie and Vera Matthews Blankenship. She was retired as Housing Manager of Oakwood Circle in Milan. Betty is survived by two children Charlie Harper (Kathleen) of Chicago and Judy Johnson (Hulon) of Milan, four grandchildren Charlie Harper (Lisa) of Chicago, Heather Powell (Eric) of Milan, Cynthia Johnson and Cherri King both of Medina and six great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Harper, her son Jimmy Harper and several brothers and sisters. A private family service will held at a later date.
