Funeral service for Ms. Betty Ola James, age 97 of Milan, will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery near Lavinia. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday afternoon from 1 - 2 pm at the funeral home. Ms. James was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Milan. She was a retired worker for the City of Milan Hospital and was a former cook at the First Assembly of God Day Care Center. Surviving Family: Sons - Cletus Douglas and Harold James Daughter - Betty J. Hudspeth 11 - Grandchildren Several Great and Great Great Grandchildren Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
