Funeral services for Betty Jean Mangrum, age 68 of Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church in Milan. She worked as the lab supervisor at the Jackson Clinic for 28 years. Surviving Family: Daughters - Sheri (Jerry) Mangrum of Milan, and Dawn (Andy) Stepps of Milan Brothers - Sam Crossland of Greenwood, MS, Terry (Deborah) Crossland of Fouke, AR, and David Holmes of Bolivar, TN Sisters - Sylvia (Walter) Beam of Greenwood, MS, and Geraldine (Bobby) Singley of Grenada, MS Grandchildren - Jacob Crossno, Corbin Mangrum, Megan Boals, Jessica King, and Lara Mangrum Great Grandchildren - Alisha King and Jaxxon King Mrs. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Alice Bright Crossland; husbands, Paul Singley and Jerry Mangrum, Sr; brother, Billy Holmes; sisters, Caroline Crossland, Juanice Turberville, Janice Chandler, and Eva Ruth Waldrup.
