A graveside service for Mrs. Betty Jo McKee, age 95 of Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Lexington. Mrs. McKee was a faithful member of Main Street Church of Christ in Milan where she was involved in the Women's Group. She loved to paint and was a member of the Garden Club in Milan. Mrs. Betty worked at the Milan Arsenal for 16 years, but prided herself as a homemaker raising five children. Surviving Family: Sons - Frank McKee and wife Alice of Cedar Grove, and Tommy McKee and wife Keely of Noble, OK Daughter - Karen Jean Newsom and husband Lavon of Jackson, MS Grandchildren - 8 Great Grandchildren - 6 Great-Great Grandchildren - 3 She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McKee is preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Nora King; husband, Charlie Frank McKee, Sr; sons, Billy Wayne McKee and Charlie Frank McKee, Jr; brothers, Jim King and Bub King; and sisters, Jean King and Vickie King.
