Graveside service for Betty Jean Tidwell, age 89 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 4 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery near Milan. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

She was born in Gibson County on June 13, 1934 to John and Cora Jenkins Crocker. Betty was a member of the West Plains Primitive Baptist Church and had worked at the Milan Shirt Factory and WSW in Atwood prior to her retirement.

She is survived by four children Peggy Joyce Woods of Cades, William Harold Tidwell (Brenda) of Milan, Ronnie Paul Tidwell (Pam ) of Milan and Terry Gene Tidwell (Cynthia) of Milan, a sister Doris Holmes of Milan, ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Hester Tidwell, parents John and Cora Crocker, two brothers Ross Crocker and Floyd Crocker and a sister Maurine Tidwell.
