Funeral services for Mrs. Bettye Darety, age 92 of Jackson and formerly Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Saturday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Darety was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Milan. She was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Bettye is survived by her son, Paul Darety and his wife Suzanne of Dickson, TN; daughter, Carol Stults and husband Vernon of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Jessica Stultz Prater and husband Brant, Andrea Brown and husband Matthew, and Ethan Darety and wife Kara; great-grandchildren, Levi and Quinn; and sister, Jo Ann Harper of Brentwood, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Darety; parents, Samuel Porter Lucky, Sr and Gladys Keenan Lucky; brother, Samuel Porter Lucky, Jr; sisters, Margaret Watson, Evelyn Gray, and Nancy Wray.
