Memorial service for Mr. William Finis "Bill" Bruce, Sr., age 87 of Milan, will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 1 PM at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 AM 1PM Tuesday at the church. Mr. Bruce was born in Dyersburg on July 25, 1934 to Finis Garrett and Susie Trainham Bruce. He was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Milan and he was a retired school teacher from the Milan Special School District. Mr. Bruce also served in the U S Army. Mr. Bill is survived by his wife Dot Bruce from Milan, five children Finis Armando Bruce (Rosi) from Mexico City, Mexico, William Finis Bruce, Jr. (Stacey) from Boerne, TX, Fred Garrett Bruce (Jeannine) from Ft. Mill, SC, Jeffrey Lynn Bruce (Denise) from Brandon, MS and Christie Elizabeth Stanley (Tom) of Arlington, TN, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Sidney Trainham Bruce.
