Funeral service for Billie Marie Oliver Tharp, age 89 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 3 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Martin Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 2 3 PM at the funeral home. Billie Marie was born on February 20, 1932 to Jessie and Ida Mae Oliver in Milan. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan and she was retired from the Milan Arsenal. She is survived by two children Susan Stewart of Milan and Johnny Tharp of Milan, two sisters Melba Sue Crocker of Milan and Clara Ruth Bramley (Elmer Lynn) of Milan, one granddaughter Amy Stewart LaRusso (Scott) of Lakeland, TN and two great-grandchildren Avery and Kanon LaRusso both of Lakeland. Billie Maire was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billie Mack Tharp and a son David Wayne Tharp.
