Billy Howard Butler, age 92 of Milan, passed away on May 1, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on July 14, 1932, to Arthur and Myrtie Lee Warren Butler. Bill was a member of the Milan First Baptist Church where he served for many years, and he also served his country in the U S Navy. He retired from the Milan Department of Public Utilities where he worked for many years as Superintendent of the electric department.

He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Butler, a daughter Angie Hibbitt and his parents Arthur and Myrtie Lee Butler. Bill is survived by one son Michael Butler (Darlene) of Erwin, TN and two grandsons Coburn Butler and Guthrie Butler both of Johnson City, TN.

A memorial service for Mr. Butler will be held at the Milan First Baptist Church on Saturday May 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
