A private funeral service for Mr. Billy Joe Cannon, age 80 of Milan, will take place Tuesday at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in Milan. Mr. Cannon retired from the Milan Arsenal. After retirement, he started Cannon's Discount Tire which he was still operating until his passing. Surviving Family: Wife - Betty Cannon of Milan, TN Son - Billy Cannon and wife Jessica of Medina, TN Daughter - Sandy Haywood and husband Marty of Milan Grandchildren - Derek Blankenship and wife Natalie, Dalton Haywood, Hunter Haywood, Hailey Cannon, and Ashlyn Cannon Great-Grandchildren - Presley Blankenship and Tessa Blankenship Mr. Cannon is preceded in death by his parents, Erbie Lee Cannon and Hattie Winters Cannon; brothers, Jimmy Cannon, Jackie Cannon, and Brownie Cannon; sisters, Jean Hicks and Wilma Orton; and grandson, Cody Haywood.
