Billy Lee Graham, a dedicated self-employed painter and cherished member of the Cedar Grove community, passed away peacefully at his home in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, on June 13, 2026. Born on August 21, 1950, in Columbus, Georgia, Billy lived a life marked by service, commitment, and creativity.
He proudly served in the United States Army, exemplifying a strong sense of duty and patriotism. Beyond his military service, Billy contributed to his community through his work as a painter, a craft that allowed him to touch many lives with his skill and care. He was a member of the Milan First United Methodist Church, where he nurtured lasting bonds with fellow congregants.
Billy is lovingly remembered by his wife, Debra Graham of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, who stood by his side through life's journey. He is survived by his sons, Billy Lee Graham, Jr. and Matthew Graham of Maine, who carry forward his legacy with pride. His grandson, Brandon Graham of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, was a constant source of joy and pride. Billy’s family circle extends to his brother, William Samuel Graham of Cedar Grove, along with numerous nieces and nephews who hold his memory dear.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mildred Willie Sumerlin Graham and Bill Graham, whose influence shaped the man he became.
Family, friends, and all who knew Billy are invited to honor his memory on June 20, 2026, beginning with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home, located at 2000 South 1st, Milan, Tennessee. This will be followed by a memorial service at the same venue at 2:00 p.m.
Billy Lee Graham’s life was one of service, artistry, and heartfelt devotion to his family and community. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
