Funeral service for Bobby Ray Johnson, age 76 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 12 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery near Medina. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 10 AM – 12 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson was born on October 26, 1947, in Bells, TN to Arthur and Ruth Sanders Johnson. He was the owner of his own construction company, and he was a member of the SoulQuest Church in Jackson.

Bobby is survived by his wife Barbara Johnson of Milan, two children Tammy Coleman (Ronnie) of Milan and Bobby Kristopher Johnson (Andrea) of Arlington, TN, daughter in law Janna Johnson of Medina, a brother David Johnson of Memphis, a sister Shirley Hollis of Kansas, seven grandchildren Austin Ray Coleman (Sara) of Knoxville, Caleb Michael Johnson (Calli) of Medina, Lindsey Brianne Johnson of Medina, Madison Brooke Rodamaker (David) of Milan, Allie Johnson (fiancé Jaxon) of Alamo, Joy Belle Johnson of Medina and Samuel Johnson of Alamo and eleven great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Michael Johnson and a brother Frank Johnson.
