Funeral services for Bonnie Faye Harrington, age 91 of Milan, will take place at 1:00 PM Monday, October 9, 2023, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Bonnie was born on April 28, 1932, to the late Jodie and Edna Mullins Walters. She went home to be with her Jesus on October 5, 2023, while surrounded by her loving family to whom she was so dedicated. Bonnie was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devoted member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church where she would brighten any room with her contagious smile. Bonnie loved her church family especially her Sunday school class. She was a faithful church member and well-respected community member and will be deeply missed. Surviving Family: Son - Larry Gurley of Milan, TN Daughters - Deborah Maxwell (Barry) of Oakfield, TN, Margie Auxier (Andy) of Jackson, TN, and Kathy Seavers of Spring Hill, FL Sisters - Rosia Rushing of Milan, Martha Ward (Jere) of Irvin TX, and Sondra Houston (Bailey) of Oakland, TN Grandchildren - Misty Mitchell, Nathan Gurley, Adam McCartney, Jessica Floyd, Kristian Bowman, Vanessa Gil, and Scott Gil Great Grandchildren - 13 and 1 great-great grandchild Besides her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband William Harrington; son, Danny Gurley; grandson, Joshua Gurley; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.
