Brenda Leigh Kilburn, born on July 19, 1960, passed away on October 19, 2026. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family who held such an important place in her life.

Brenda’s memory lives on in her sons, Jeremy Forsythe and wife Maria Cortez Forsythe and Charles Gilbert and wife Samantha. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia Cole of Cedar Grove. Her love continues through her grandchildren, Tyler Butler, Gavin Gilbert, Christian Gilbert, Vincent Gilbert, and Liam Gilbert. She is also survived by her brother, James Kilburn of Greenfield, Tennessee; her sisters, Vivian Skeeter of Dickson, Tennessee, Melissa Kilburn of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, and Tammy Wilson of Texas. Together, they carry forward the memory of Brenda and the place she held in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Kilburn; her daughter, Kelly Wilkerson; and her grandson, Damion Lee Gilbert. Their memories remained part of her life and are now joined with hers in remembrance.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home, 2000 South 1st, Milan, Tennessee 38358. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan following the funeral service. 

Brenda Leigh Kilburn will be remembered with affection and honor by her family and all who share in her memory.
