Funeral service for Brenda Joyce McDonald, age 75 of Atwood, will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 2 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 10 AM – 2 PM at the funeral home.

Brenda was born on April 21, 1949, and passed away on July 7, 2024. Over her lifetime she held numerous jobs including the Milan Mirror, Bendex/Allied and the Milan Arsenal. Her love for animals was never ending as over the years she cared for many dogs, cats, horses, peacocks and other exotic "fur babies".

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including her cousin Lisa Vinson and her two "fur babies" Pricilla and Max. She was preceded in death by her husband J. T. McDonald.
