Funeral service for Bro. George Edward Epperson, age 89 of Milan, will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 3 pm at the Gann Community Church near Milan with burial to follow in the Belews Chapel Cemetery near Bradford. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday from 12 to 3 pm at the Gann Community Church. He was born on April 20, 1929 to Claude Lewis and Daisy Climer Epperson in Dyer County. Bro. George faithfully preached the Gospel of Christ for many years and served the Gann Community Church as their pastor from 1984 until the time of his death. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Christine Epperson, several brothers and sisters and one grandson. He is survived by three children Kenneth Epperson (Linda) of Atwood, Martha Pruitt of Milan and Linda Long of Milan, five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
