Bro. Eric Ryne McLemore passed away on February 17, 2023 at Milan General Hospital at the age of 34. He was born on April 18, 1988 in Jackson to Joe and Donna Gail Kee McLemore. Bro. Eric attended Liberty High School in Jackson, answered the Lords call to preach the Word, and upon graduation continued his education at Union University in Jackson. In between high school graduation and attending Union University, he attended Bethel University in McKenzie and played baseball for the Wildcats. Eric was the pastor of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan for the past six years. He wore many hats in serving his Milan community. Bro. Eric was the president of the Milan Ministerial Association, worked as a funeral assistant with Bodkin Funeral Home and helped the Bradford High School Baseball team as an assistant coach. However, two things were apparent in his life. His love for his wife and three children and his love for his church and the calling God had placed on his life. Bro. Eric is survived by his wife Leah Stout McLemore, three daughters Virginia McLemore, Layla McLemore and Charlotte McLemore all of Milan, his mother Gail McLemore of Medina, and two brothers Chris McLemore (Jennifer) of Medina and Daniel McLemore of Boston, MA. He was preceded in death by his father Joe McLemore. Visitation with the family will held on Sunday evening from 5-8 pm and on Monday from 1 2 pm all at the Northside Baptist Church in Milan. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday at 2 pm at Northside Baptist Church. Bodkin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Bro. Eric McLemore.
