Funeral service for Mr. Bruce Fuqua Harrison Sr., age 91 of Milan, will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church in Milan with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday evening from 6 - 9pm at the funeral home and from 1 - 2pm Monday at the First Baptist Church. Mr. Harrison was a member of the Milan First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, former Sunday School Teacher and served on various church committees. He was the retired owner and operator of Wood Harrison Motor Company in Milan. Mr. Harrison was a former member of the Milan Lions Club, was a charter member and Past President of the Milan Jaycees, was a member and Past President of the Milan Chamber of Commerce and was voted as Milan's Man of the Year. Mr. Harrison was a WW II veteran serving his country in the U S Army Air Corp. Surviving Family: Wife - Carolyn H. Harrison Sons - Bruce Fuqua Harrison, Jr.(Karon), Dr. William Hudson Harrison(Jan) and John Caldwell Harrison(Lisa) 6 - Grandchildren 5 - Great Grandchildren Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by a brother Bennett Harrison and a sister Marion Harrison Flusche.
