Funeral service for Mr. Bruce Corey Moore, age 52 of Milan, will be held at 11am at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday evening from 5 - 9pm at the funeral home. Surviving Family: Wife - Debra Appleton Moore Sons - Kurt Austin Moore (Patricia), Ryan Paul Moore (Michelle), Caleb Austin Appleton and Corey Paul Moore Father - Howard Moore Mother - Rebecca Moore Locke Brother - Brad Moore (Crystal) Grandchildren - Makayla Moore, William Beckwith, Landon Moore and Summerton Moore Mr. Moore was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Milan serving in the KJV Children's Ministry, Bus Ministry and VBS Ministry. Bruce was an Electronics Instructor with the College of Applied Technology in McKenzie and under his instruction had three National Gold Metal Students. His love and passion was Green Technology. He brought the college to be the first Certified Green Academy in Tennessee and made a presentation before the U S Congress on Green Technology. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and he was a retired 1st Sgt. in the U S Army. While in the service, he was a member of the 160th SOARCA which is an elite unit. During his service he received the Bronze Star, Meritoroious Service Metal and the Joint Service Commendation Metal with Combat Distinguishing Device. Bruce was preceded in death by a brother Larry Moore and a sister Deborah Lynn Moore. Memorials may be directed to the Temple Baptist Church Children's Ministry in Milan, TN.
