Funeral service for Wallace Dale "Butch" Browning, age 73 of Medina, will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 3 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Republican Grove Cemetery near Trezevant. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10 AM - 3 PM at the funeral home.

Butch, a retired electrician, was born on November 19, 1951 to his parents Algee and Mattie Lou Wallace Browning in Milan. He graduated from Atwood High School in 1969 and he was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Jill Browning of Medina, two sons Jeremy Browning (Mary Beth) of Medina and Jody Browning of Trezevant and five grandchildren Reilly Browning, Shelby Browning, Sophie Browning, Claire Browning and Callie Browning. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Browning.
