Funeral services for Mr. Carlton "Dick" Eugene Walls, age 93 of Atwood, will take place at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campground/Pleasant Green Cemetery in Trezevant.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Dick was born February 7, 1930, to the late Elmer and Daisy Spain Walls. He passed away January 13, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon. Mr. Walls was a retired maintenance man. He worked for Foamex for several years. Dick served his country in the United States Army.  He was a member of Pleasant Green Presbyterian Church in Trezevant.

Wife - Rebecca Walls of Atwood

Son - Steven Walls and wife Melinda of McKenzie, TN

Grandchildren - Brandy Auvenshine and husband Brent, and Matthew Walls and wife Tanya

Great-Grandchildren - Briley Auvenshine, Braylin Auvenshine, and Ethan Walls.

Besides his parents, Mr. Walls is preceded in death by a son, Michael Walls; brothers, Clifford and Tommy Walls; and sisters, Lois Berry and Betty Crews.
