Funeral service for Betty Carolyn Bratton, age 84, of Milan, will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 10 AM – 2 PM at the funeral home.

She was born on October 3, 1939, in Mansfield, TN to Jim and Lena Forrest Davis. Carolyn was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan, and she retired as a Cash Office Clerk from the Milan Walmart.

She is survived by her children Ricky Bratton (Amy) of Bradford, Kay Flowers (Stan) of Bradford, Jackie Dunn of Lavinia and Jimmy Dunn (Teresa) of Columbia, TN, two sisters Sue Hollingsworth (Jimmy) of Camden and Marsha Palmer of Paris, ten grandchildren Bo Bratton, Kelsey Bratton, Annalee Bratton, Brandon Coffman, Brent Coffman (Libby), Hunter Flowers, John Dunn (Carley), Jennifer Twilla (Brad), Tonya Dunn and Jesse Dunn (Leah) and five great grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband James Bratton, her parents Jim and Lena Davis and a sister Kathy Arnold.
