Funeral service for Carolyn Sue Churchwell, age 75 of McKenzie, will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11 AM at the Harmony Primitive Baptist Church near Bradford with burial to follow the Harmony Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10 11 AM at the church. Carolyn was born on August 1, 1948, to James Russell and Katie Lou Arnold White in Milan and she was a member of the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church near McKenzie. She is survived by three daughters Lora Wofford (Lynn) of McKenzie, Deborah Duncan (David) of Lavinia and Dana Churchwell of Atwood, eight grandchildren Brittany Clinton, Tristen Fuller (Mary Elizabeth), Trace Fuller, Tyson Fuller, Dallas Churchwell, Ryne Woods, Riley Duncan and Shawnda Fuller and four great grandchildren Kylie Clinton, Reece Peterson, Kash Fuller and Tatum Fuller. Besides her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Elder Buron Ray Churchwell and a son James Buron Churchwell.
