Funeral service for Carrie Ann Norman, age 81 of Milan, will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the White Rose Cemetery near Gibson. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 12 2 pm at the funeral home.
She was born on July 26, 1941 to Clarence and Della Lashlee Taylor in Gibson County and passed away on August 15, 2022 at her daughters home in Lavinia after an extended illness. Carrie was a retired cafeteria worker with the Milan Special School District and she had attended the First Christian Church in Milan.
She is survived by a daughter Teresa Stone (Gary) of Lavinia, two brothers Paul Taylor (Marlene) of Paris and Wayne Taylor (Joan) of Gibson, three grandchildren Ashley Gardner (Charles) of Atwood, Heather Wollam (Zackery) of Milan and James Dale Shedd (Raven) of Humboldt and eight great grandchildren Kaylie Harris of Milan, Aaiden Gardner of Atwood, Buckley Wollam of Milan, Oakleigh Wollam of Milan, Kristen Federico and Ally Federico both of North Carolina and Blake Shedd and Carlee Shed both of Humboldt. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents and husband Kenneth Norman, a son Jimmy Shedd, two brothers James Taylor and Billy Taylor, a sister Ulean Elliott, a granddaughter Peggy Federico and a great-grandson Christopher Federico.
