Funeral service for Charles David George, age 69 of Milan, will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Belews Chapel Cemetery near Bradford. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 11 AM – 1 PM at the funeral home.

He was born on February 13, 1955, in Milan to Henry David and Peggy Browning George. He was a member of the Belews Chapel General Baptist Church, and he was a retired Gibson County EMT. He was a Milan graduate class of 1972. He then graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Charles also served in the United States Army in the 1980's.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl George, two children Jeff George (Michelle Nagode) of Rogers, AR and Caitlin George of Milwaukee, WI, one sister Jeanna Hicks (Greg) of Nashville, a grandson Spencer Floyd of Rogers, AR and a niece Shannon Hicks of LaVergne.
