Mr. Charles William "Billy" Rust, age 75 of Milan, passed away on October 12, 2020 at the Milan General Hospital. He was born on January 30, 1945 in Humboldt to J. G. and Elizabeth McLemore Rust. Billy was a member of the Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and he was the overseer of the Double Springs Cemetery. He was retired as Plant Manager from Allied Aerofoam. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Rinks. Billy is survived by his wife Betty Ann Rust of Milan, two children Chuck Rust (Demetra) of Milan and Leigh Ann Rust of Milan, one brother Johnny Rust (Scottie) of Jacksonville, FL, two grandchildren Johnathan "J. J." Keathley of Milan and Katelyn Hatchett of Milan and one great granddaughter Blakely Keathley of Milan. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 11 am at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday evening from 5 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or to the Double Springs Cemetery Fund.
