Charles Emmett "Charlie" White, age 72 of Bradford, passed away on August 7, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a brief illness. Charlie was born in Humboldt, TN to Thomas Harris "T. H." and Modeen Grear White on December 19, 1947. He was a member of the Davidson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and he was retired from the Dept. of Agriculture. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy White. Charlie is survived by two sisters Vivian White and Virginia Russell both of Bradford and one brother Mike White of Milan, one niece Magan Corbin (Andy) of Medina, four nephews William Russell (Ashley) of Paris, Nathan Russell (Scarlett) of Rutherford, Stuart Russell (Misaki) of Bradford and Adam White (Amy) of Medina and great nieces and nephews Sloane Russell, Seeley Russell, Chloe Russell, Callie Russell, Brett Russell, Ben Russell, Reagan Russell, Harper Corbin, Aubrey White, Abel White and Ava Russell. Charlie had such a kind, generous, fun loving spirit that his great nieces and nephews considered him more of a grandfather that an uncle. We will all miss his jokes and pranks, but most of all, we will miss his love. A private family graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 2 pm at the Davidson Chapel Cemetery near Trenton. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
