Funeral service for Clara Frances Smith, age 63 of Jackson, will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation, with social distancing, will be held on Sunday from 12 2 pm at the funeral home. Clara was born in Florence, AL on May 8, 1957 to Billy and Janie Porter Sherrill. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson and she worked as a LPN for the Jackson Clinic. She is survived by her husband David Smith of Jackson, a daughter Nancy Henry (Edward) of Oakfield, two step sons Heath Smith (Lori) of Milan and Van Smith (Laura) of Huntingdon, four brothers Billy Sherrill, Jimmy Sherrill, Jerry Sherrill and Andy Sherrill, four sisters Margaret Skaggs, Linda Harville, Rebecca Morris and Elizabeth Beal, six grandchildren, Zach Wells (Ariel) of Milan, Corey Wells (Hannah) of Milan, Haleigh Overman (Bradley) of Wildersville, Sara Beth Smith of Huntingdon and Layla Henry of Oakfield, three great grandchildren Lyla Wells, Josie Wells and Leira Wells and many bonus children and grandchildren.
