Funeral service for Mrs. Connie Marie Reaves Welch, age 79 of Milan, will be held at 3pm on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Family visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon from 1 - 3pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Welch was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan where she was a member of the Auditorium Sunday School Class, choir member and served as a church soloist. Mrs. Welch was a retired cook with the Milan Special School District. Surviving Family: Husband - Jerald L. Welch Son - Chris Smith (Tami) Daughter - Kathie Johnson (Gary) Step Son- Michael Welch (Suzanne) Step Daughters - Sherry Carroll (Randy) and Janet Powell (Tommy) Brother - Charles C.
