Cynthia Lou Stanek Johnson, 75, passed away on July 24, 2026.

Cynthia will be remembered as a caring and loving woman and, above all, a devoted mother. Her greatest joy was her son, Gary, whom she loved with all her heart.

She was known for her infectious laugh, a gift she shared with her father and brothers, and for a wonderful sense of humor that could keep everyone around her in stitches. Her warmth, kindness, and ability to make people smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved son, Gary Johnson; her brother, Jimmy Stanek (Kay); many nieces and nephews, and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Stanek and Evelyn Stanek; her second mother, Jean Stanek; and her brothers, Joe Shaffer and Robert Stanek.

Though she is no longer with us, Cynthia's laughter, love, and the joy she brought to others will live on in the hearts and memories of those who loved her.
