Danny "Doc" Curtis, age 71 of Atwood, passed away December 8, 2019, at his home. Danny retired from Alan Vines in Jackson where he won many awards for sales. He was an avid horse lover and trainer. Danny won several buckles showing horses. Danny is survived by the love of his life, Betty Merritt and her daughters, Sheila Sutton-Triplett and her husband John, Sheri Sutton, and Sandy Sutton; brother, Brodia H. Curtis and his wife JoAnn of Grant Park, IL; sister, Betty Wilson of Atwood; sister-in-law, Judy Curtis of Big Sandy; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brodia H. Curtis and Katherine Blankenship Curtis, and brother, Howard L. Curtis. No Service Monday, December 09, 2019
