Funeral services for Mr. David Festus Bryant III, age 79 of Milan, will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until service at the funeral home. Mr. David was born in McKenzie, TN on September 26, 1942, to the late David Festus Bryant II and Euline Crowe Bryant. He passed away August 25, 2022. David was a life long Milan resident, graduating from Milan High School. He was a faithful member of Fairview Church of Christ where he was also the song leader. David retired from the Milan Arsenal where he worked as an electrical lineman. David also drove the school bus for Milan schools. He especially enjoyed taking the basketball and football teams to out of town games and the Milan Band for out of town competition events. Reid Besides his parents, David is preceded in death by wife, JoAnn Oliver Bryant; son, David Festus Bryant IV; daughter, Susan Michelle Bryant; sisters, Ann Spain and Maxine Galey.
