Funeral service for Mr. David Parkins, age 60 of Milan, will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pounds Idlewild Cemetery near Bradford. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Mr. Parkins was born on September 17, 1958 to James and Mary Yates Parkins and he was a member of the Sitka Church of Christ. He is survived by two brothers Gordon Parkins (Elizabeth) of Anderson, SC and Sammy Yates of Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Parkins was preceded in death by his parents.
