Dean Marshall, age 84 of Atwood, passed away on August 4, 2020 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born on July 23, 1936 to Will L. and Avo Presley Robinson in Atwood. Dean was a member of the Atwood First Baptist Church and she was retired from Macks Hardware in Atwood. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Robinson and a sister Jean Stanford. Dean is survived by her husband James Marshall of Atwood, two daughters Denise Reed (Paul) of Jackson and Debbie Cannon (Mike) of Lavinia, four grandchildren Richie Cannon (Heather) of Paris, Chris Cannon of Atwood, Celina Crocker (Caleb) of Trezevant and Zac Gilliam of Memphis and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 5 8 pm and on Thursday from 11 am 1 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer Association.
