She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ. I think there are many words that can describe Debbie, but the main word that comes to mind when you think of Debbie is "fun." It was impossible not to smile and laugh when you were in her presence. Debbie loved to laugh and have a good time. She is described as the comedienne of our family as she could always keep you laughing whether it was an unshackled comment or one of her crazy stories that seemed unbelievable. She was very quick with a joke even if she didnt mean for it to be. She never failed to light up a room with her entertaining storytelling, giggle and her smile. She had a beautiful smile and a beautiful soul to match. She spent a lot of her time giving and caring for others. She was an excellent caregiver and spent some time sitting with sick or elderly. She offered her time, heart and companionship to those who needed it the most. She also had a tender heart for all animals, but she especially loved caring for her Maggie Mae and Bo. Debbie was also a woman of perseverance. She always managed to keep a smile on her face even when she was met with adversary. She never lost her impeccable sense of humor in any situation. She always remained positive despite the outcome. There is a great lesson we can learn from our time with Debbie; no matter what stands in our way to keep a smile on our face and not take ourselves too seriously. Thank you, Debbie for always giving us laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Gibson County Animals.
