Funeral service for Deborah Ann Seavers, age 73 of Milan, will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the White Rose Cemetery near Gibson. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday evening from 5 – 8 PM and on Sunday from 12 – 2 PM at the funeral home. Deborah passed away on June 5, 2025, in Jackson.

She was born in Milan on January 11, 1952, to J. V. and Mary Jo Wynn Elliott. After graduating from Gibson High School, Deborah attended Jackson State Community College and then received her degree in education from UTM. She retired from the Trenton Special School District and was a member of the Cades Church of Christ.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Seavers of Milan, one daughter Sherry Kay Seavers of Milan, her mother Mary Jo Elliott of Gibson and a sister Donna Lynn Elliott Hardy (Billy) of Milan. She was preceded in death by her father J. V. Elliott.
