Services for Mrs. Frances Delores Cotton "Tootsie" Medling, age 81 of Milan, will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 - 8pm and on Thursday from 12 - 2pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Medling was a retired first grade school teacher from the Milan Special School District. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, a past member of the Milan Music Club, a former member of the Business and Professional Women and was a past winner of the Milan Chamber of Commerce's Woman of the Year. Mrs. Medlin was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Milan. Surviving Family: Husband - Jack F. Medling Daughter - Kerry Jay Taylor Grand Daughter - Olivia Taylor Brother - Kenneth (Sue) Cotton Several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church in Milan, TN or the Scholarship Fund of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan, TN.
